You can never know too much about happiness. Seriously. It’s what every human (and animal) wants, the driving force behind all of our behavior — the end goal of our existence.
Hence this blog. 🙂 But aside from your daily readings of my take on this particular subject, there are other awesome ways to up your happiness quotient. One of these is UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center’s Science of Happiness course. It’s free, it’s offered via edX, and it’s amazing (trust me on this, I interviewed the professor). And it starts today.
The eight-week positive psychology course will be teaching all sorts of useful, science-based practices to boost your happiness. Neuropsychologist Rick Hanson, Ph.D.; The Myths of Happiness author Sonja Lyubomirsky, Ph.D.; and mindful meditation teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. are all on board.
C’mon, why wouldn’t you sign up? Join me and more than 90,000 other folks across the world as we learn more about (arguably) the most important topic ever: HAPPINESS.
See you in the classroom!
